We make those bots in thinking for players who have a little connexion or bad connexion, noobs to play a little to know better the game and people playing in a LAN with other to make fun games against Bobot.
And we are very happy when we read that you are really happy to play with our bots, we will make them better and better days by days, only enjoy and support us.
when u dl the mod of all lang of bo bots...does it work automaticly?or do u have to do something?
you open the zipped file and there are some files. Run one of them and extract to your ET directory. (a new folder will be created). When you get in the bobot dont forget to disable the "pure server" as you wont be able to bind the bobot commands.
yes i know...i cant use the bobots commands to play with them...but where do i go to the zipped file? what if i unzipped the file on the bobots all lang?

where do i find the pure server thing so i can disable it?
Once you download the file ,and unzip it you'll have several installations to choose from. If you're running windows just run the windows installer version. once you've installed it there should be a shortcut to run bobots in you're start menu. start the game and before you load the map you want to play bring down the console with the ~ key and type sv_pure 0. now you can bind the keys via the bobots menu inside the game.
i did the pure 0 but i still doesnt give me the commands what else should i do?
i got the alpha without knowin this was here till i went to enemy-territory.com but i love the idea of puttin bots in this game now i can have ET on both of my puters thanks to these bots!
hey chrom ill try to reinstall it and see itf it wil work and that i get to use the bobots commands ill still do the pure 0
I have Et version 1,02 and i unzip this file and it still don't work .Even when i disable pure server .why this is not working.
yea u put it in et main...take out the pk3 file and put it in et main folder .....thats what i did and my mod wrked ..i dont know how to do et pro 3.o.o but try it go to My Computer icon..go to progam files icon..go to the enemy territory icon...look for it..and youll see the et main folder and do what i said in the beggining if it doesnt work..reply
how come you guys never made a readme file for wp configs and why didnt you tell any thing abut f9 f10 f11 keys and what they do,just press them in game and a get configs for hthings you never mentiond. you guys left a whole bunch of things out. and why didnt you guys make wpfiles for other maps? just wondering. I like the mod but need more info on thoughs things

seriously hahaha. how about making the english version more ...english! realy cool bots but limmited maps. I cant even use the way point editor cus it dosent have nodes for placing dyanmite or other paths for jumping..lime thoughs green patchs and the nodes that look like +? I cant seem to find thoughs in the waypoint editor. one things that is cool is the bot medics tk, and revive you right away if they are low med charge hehe.
if you dont see the bobots in the et main menu when you first start the game or local server it might be in the menu when you are actualy in the map, make sure you choos the bobots campain cus they dont know were to go on any other map.I have a bug were i CANT change any system,option,game,etc,setting after i am playing bobots in the map, just incase any one else has the same prob. and there should be a bobots icon on your desktop after install. if not you can edit the et shortcut on the desktop. +set fs_game bobot. right after the target line next to et exe". its in the readme file too. if you ever get to the point were you see the bobots menu click it and you will see were to bind the keys to open the bobot and waypint menus,,i wouldnt bother with the waypoint menu cus it is not finnished. the bobots tend to drown alot on the battery map, even the axis bobots are campers if you let them. they are leathle even on skill 2. over all the bots know what to do better than rtcw bots, but on only 3 maps. Finnish this mod!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do it!
if you speaka the english and run windows, choose the Bobot_win_1.03.EXE thats the only fille you will need to get started. choose the root directory for the files to go not the main folder. I didnt put the bobot.pk3 file in my et main and it works up to what its capable of. about the pure thing. its in the advanced options when you choose host game. select host game and choose advanced options the pure server option is on the top right corner, just select no,,i have to select it every time i start a host server, for some reason.
to bad i cant edit thease posts..just to make sure..the files need to go into the ET root directory were the et exe is located.. bobot finnal version! were!!!!!!oh ....

I use it to practise when offline. Bots respond nicely.
A few comments:
1. Bots don't avoid frienly or spotted mines
2. Fieldops keeps on chasing other bots and don't respond to "I need ammo"
3. Medics rather shoot than resurrect.
4. Bots consider knife as long range weapon
5. Bots immediately recognises a CovertOps in their Uniform - how about a delay?
6. CovertOps uses only pistol, other bots use only standard MP40 or Thompson

The bobots are very nice but they are "too good".
They shoot me even if I am in the hostile uniform at distance of some 700 metres (battery and radar)
They see through bushes and hit me in center of my head!!! (radar)

These bots are really fun, I love to play with them.
Hope they will be upgraded soon, here are some problems I encountered:
- bots have some decision making problems, especially when you shoot short series at them and go under cover. As soon as you go out of their line of sight they do stupid things, every single bobot starts to reload, heal, do whatever but not what it should do. And it should just wait at least few secs for enemy to reappear or take cover and then reload or whatever. You can now kill a whole competition skill bobot respawn, you only need to find a good cover, go out and shoot few bullets, then go back, go out again and shoot few bullets and so on. If you have enough ammo you will eventually kill them all, as they advance very slowly, even if there is a full fireteam of them. This is even worse if you are an engie and need a medic to be revived. Your medic will most probably die switching between his gun and needle.
- engineers should be more object oriented, a bobot eng will try to kill every enemy he can see. If you want him to move toward an objective you need to kill every enemy in his line of sight, otherwise it will just crouch and shoot or reload. Once happened to me to use all revive needles on an engie and all he was doing is sitting there and trying to knife whole enemy respawn from a distance.
- bots waste ammunition on shielded enemies, when the shield ends they are usually reloading. It would be much better for them to use this ammo to finish off enemies, preventing them from being revived.
- bots tend to come in close groups, when I'm bored I just take a garand/k43 engie, usually 2 or 3 of them die from a launched grenade.
- I haven't seen a bot strafing, this may be very difficult to implement however
- sometimes bobot fieldops fail to notice I don't need more ammo, especially later in the game. I don't know what causes this, it may be going to limbo too early after death or picking enemies' weapons, or maybe when you get more ammo starting from spawn due to skills. I think a bobot fieldop should drop ammo just anywhere close to friends, other bots can pick them up with no problems. Having a fieldop moving in circles around you and dropping more and more ammo packs is not a wise tactic against coming group of enemies.
- bobots have huge problems to use ladders, it may take a whole match for a bobot to get out of water using a ladder
I am aware huge amount of work have been put into these bots and I know making them just working was hard enough, but I'm dreaming of bots that will play like a real pros. I believe that you can make that happen. Good luck on your work and thanks for everything you've done so far.

ya there are problems its only the second version out since it was created I think its funny how the Medic and LT bots just give each other health and ammo, then kill any thing they see no matter if its all the way down the hill on battery..

when a guy is wounded a fieldops would run around the wounded corpse throwing ammo over and over

can u run theese bots with other mods? like run ETPro then get the bots into the game? i tried wolfbot (rtcw) but it was counted as a mod so i couldnt run osp, so i just gave up... cause main mod sux ***** in RTCW and ET ...

Been out of the RTCW scene for quite a while and there are bots for ET. ET was supposed to have them but they yanked them becasue they said they sucked. Should have left them in so others could work on making them better.
I can hardly wait to try these and thanks again for helping the individuals who really don't like the "online" scene.
New version of bobots will be soon on line as soon as rtcwfiles will make this fine like that

Bobotīs canīt build generator (bad node place), bobotīs have eye on thir back :-)
and they shot you when you got their clothes , ...
Maybe using of tanks and mgīs will be fine , and their are very accurate on large distances , even on 0-1 dif level
I must give 10/10 and great THANK , because they are good bots...
(Will be nice if you can do bots as executable that will make CPU controlled client (bot) and connect to your server , this will add compability to another mods...)
In the next version, the 0.2 which is not in public download yet (Rtcwfiles admins : file ready for public dl ) bot were improved, they dont know how to use MG/tank, but the solution was find : Make WP always near the tank and for the MG we prefer let humans take controls of that instead of bots : they are enough strong

We focus our work on a AI and a team work from bots, like, by exemple, bots will wait each others instead of running alone in the front 
They prone to better kill you, they camp and they shoot as good as uselly 
And then 6 originals maps supports from ET.
By the way , one image in your gallery shows m1 carbeny with ironsights..

First I could not set keys to any of the command in bobots menu, there still remained three questionmarks (???) after I pressed a new key. Then I somehow did it. I set X key to BOBOTs. Then I tried to press the X key during the game but nothing happened. The only thing I achieved is ADDBOT and REMOVEBOT commands. I still have only Engineers and after the first map (Seawall Battery) the whole game crashes back to Windows. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
Soz if this is a n00bish question but i don know much about mods - will this work with things like ET pro 3.x or other mods?
in seawall battery when you shoot the allies from the bunker and then hide, the engineers foerget what were they supposed to do(build the ramp) oh, btw acc is sooooooooooo goooooood, like godlike 
Works great for me, the only error I ran into was that even after I selected "English" there were still some words that popped up in some other language. Other than that, it's excellent! 
tried all the install methods and nothing in game.

everytime i select bobots or add one my pc crashes-owell-mustn't be compatible with latest et pro patch or something.

I noticed that if you dont get flag right away the bots on allies side will fall back and dround them selves, or just walk in the water like the AI's from the original Sp wolfenstien I know you gave a warning about that map, but they fall back or retreat sometimes, From a single player prospective mabey they can be more agresive in getting goals or just flags
Can you make seperate node for objective, moving and pathway block!ing awareness to Bot? also make a code that enemy won't shoot undercover covert. There no way would get out my trench(it doesn't have stairway). Add a Jump then Couch node. Many new addidtion node would be fun! please excuse my english and sorry about gibbing english.
Do the bots work on Linux?
I don't know why isn't work, i can add bots and i can see it as spectators, but not in the game.

after a lot of trouble installiong the bots, i have finaly the bobots menu at the options.
But there only (???) configurations, and i cant change them?

Um how do you change bot weapons and make them use varieties of weapons? Cause my dudes only use Thompson/MP40 and then pistol. And covert ops uses sten and pistol, no smoke granades, no uniform stealing and stuff. Engis dont lay mines! The only real working classes are the medic and field ops. Everything else needs some work!
But anyways how u change weaps?   
I installed Bobots_Linux_UK.zip, and start the game with "et +set fs_game bobot +set sv_pure 0", then start a server. Now I have BOBOTS in the menu when I press [Esc]. When I click BOBOTS, I get a dialog box with BOBOTS: (???) and Waypoints: (???). It does nothing. I type "/addbot axis soldier Bobot 0" and I get "unknown cmd addbot". /addbot is listed as a valid console command (when I press /a[tab] then I see it) Help? Anyone...Anyone?
Necromancer is right, and RW Tiger is wrong,use Omnibot, they work for all stock maps and set up is a breeze.

my bots move a few feet and stand there
I have to say I'm pretty impressed by what I saw. The AI seems to be adaptive and self-learning - My bots, at first, kept dying in the water on the SeaWall map, but after about 5 minutes, they were all pushing up on towards the assault ramp (all as "Debutantes" mind you.)
My only real beef is how accurate the bots are, even as "debutantes." I think there should be definite accuracy issues with difficulty levels 0-4, at least, with level 0 not being able to hit the broad side of a barn. I also would like to suggest that, if you can't put in recognition delays for disguised coverts, then let only Field Ops Bots with level 4 Field Ops skill be capable of detecting enemy disguises just to see how that works out.
for people who dont know how to put bots in you map well he is a example for you guys:
first off all open you console with ~
then you need to type a long command here is a info thats needs to be in that command: /addbot [team] [class(soldier,engineer)] [name of bot] [skill0-5]
then if you put in that there needs to stand something like this:
/addbot allies engineer bobot1 4
then you should here a somebody say Hi or Hello then a bot will be in that map.
then you can make waypoints for that guy and for all other bots 
should be compatable with most maps

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS! Bobots 4.08 is MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER!
It has a better bot control system, smarter bots, a bot menu, and behavior menu (I.E. you can stop them from using artilery to kill themselves) and best of all a weapon stats menu that the server host can change!
