No no no, the last thing this game needs is more trickjumping losers. I don't think the creators of ET intended for the Old City wall to be hopped over, or for players to trickjump into the fuel dump, the list goes on. Also just the other day, some kid was able to get INTO the bank in goldrush using /playdead repeatadly before the allies had even repaired the tank.....unbelievable. Although that doesn't have anything to do with trickjumpng, I'm sure some loser will come out with a video on how to exploit /playdead.

Not bad.. some of the jumps are nice, but the video itself ran pretty choppy. And that section in the end where its the same jump 3 times in a row forward and reverse was sort of overkill.
Decent jumps involved, good music, but mediocre editing. This guys next movie should be better.

@ 1, I can trickjump pretty good, I really don't use trickjumping for that. I only trickjump on the trickjumping maps. Oh yeah, I've also used the playdead exploit a couple of times, I tried it on Veince, I got stuck in the library floor stick out tongue
I'm downloading it right now...

@ #1 thats not true. a few friends of mine went to quakecon this year and met some of the splash damage ppl that made the game. he showed them a trickjumping video. the splash damage ppl gave them mad props for it to.

@#1 you some kind of noob? do you hate trickjumpers cos you cant do em? btw, this playdead thing is old and known. and it aint trickjumpin so its not releted to the topic.

Personally, I think trick jumps make matches a bit more interesting. Honestly, a good defense can remedy trick jump exploits, so claiming that trick jumps can completely turn the match in someone else's favor isn't accurate.

Trick jumps are normally very predictable, so how is it so unfair to use them? Nothing a little camping can't fix. stick out tongue

As for trick jump vids, I feel that ET trick jump vids are pretty shallow and boring in comparison to some of the RtCW offerings. Actually, I'm kinda starved for some more of shaolin's work. Those 4K vids were bliss.

well as to you spec0p ...bet you are only jealous and if u were not only a public gamer u could know that the /playdead function is a cvar from shrubet mod ... which is almost played in no league ... and if the developers didnt want them to jump they would have "blocked" (or atleast kept it on the low) like in CoD and not make the game just like RtCW (u know what i mean now stick out tongue ) ... to the vid i wathced it and i think the jumps are good but they are too old ... better need new ones and the ending (dunno if it was just my version ) it replays way too often and then just stops in the middle of the music oO .... kinda poor ... seen better ones

What I miss in this video (except walljump oasis) are useable jumps. Long strafe jumps look interesting but besides of that not useable. Like #6 said: Nothing a little camping can't fix.
I'm a lousy jumper and as a noobjumper what I would like to see (for example) is on radar from cp to the east objectives. Or like Infensus did on rtcw beach (should work in ET) a-no-help-needed walljump from allies side.
And that triple-jump on the end, I suppose you wanted to do the walljump after?
