Powerup Visualization (Alpha 1) - File Description  


Description:
Introduction:
"Powerup Visualization" is a clientside modification that makes the following powerups more visual:
- Invulnerability (after revive / spawn)
- Disguise (teamonly)
- Objective
- Adrenaline

The icons (overhead or on body) are removed (Version Alpha 1) and replaced by
Q3-powerup-like colored additional playermodels.

Powerup Visualization Version Alpha 1
-------------------------------------



Before Installation:
If you want to use this mod in addition to a serverside mod
(like for example ET-Pub) please make a safety copy of the mod directory
before the installation.

Installation:
Unzip "powerup_visualization_a1.zip" with pathes enabled into your W:ET directory.
This sould create a subfolder "povis" in your W:ET directory.
If you want to use the mod in addition to a serverside mod copy
"mp_bin.pk3", "cgame_mp_x86.dll", "ui_mp_x86.dll" and "powerups.pk3"
to the moddirectory.

Note:
This is not an official file.
Use it at your own risk.

Note:
If there's another modification installed this one may not work.

Two textures, two shaders and some lines of source code are taken from Q3.

Interesting mod to say the least. However, I was curious if you were going to
make a linux version for all of us out here that run linux servers. And in conjunction
with that question/request, I'm also wondering if the files in the pak can be placed
inside ones' own custom pak and then used....

Like pretty neat. I'm going to download it and try it out.
