okay.. well it got this far..anyone know when a mac 1.41 patch comes out that works?

What you have to do to get the 1.41 patch to work is do a totally new install of the game from the original disc. When you are installing and it ask if "you want to check for updates" say "NO". Then use this patch/updater to go from version 1 straight to version 1.41.

For it to work properly you HAVE TO DO IT THIS WAY.

I have the mac version and I cannot find the snooper rifle. I've been to both parachute drops and there is no rifle there? Can I cheat to obtain the rifle? What do I do now??

When i try to d/l this, i get a funky looking window instead of the d/l one. I see this:

do a control- or leftclick on the link for the download and click "save link as"
then choose your folder and download..

i have version 1.41 and I cant get into any servers ive tried to get mods for a number of sites but it still wont let me in any of the servers it always goes invalid pk3. file or something like that ive found a couple of servers to get into but ive totaled 2 is there any way to get into any more servers and if u respond to this can u get into most of the servers

im the same person above my number is #8 i did what u said and it WORKS!!!!! i can get into all servers and they work just fine but i still need to know one thing , i keep trying to get into some serversbut i dont have the maps are there any Game of The Year (G.O.T.Y.) map packs for macintosh like MP. trench toast ?????????
