Description: OBJECTIVE: Steal Artifact
There has been a lot of "high level" communications between Berlin and this remote castle. There are rumors that an artifact of great religious significance has been found near by and has been taken to Korfe. It is thought that the Germans may have found the lost treasures of the Knights Templar. Such a treasure, if it exists, must be recovered at all cost.
Your job is to gain entry to the castle. There is a large garrison in the near by village so don't do anything to alert the Germans to your presence.
Take out the radio operator to stop the Germans calling for help.
Find the artifact and make good your escape.
Good luck.
It is recommend that you run this map with the 1.33 patch installed.

Notes.
This map has been based on Corfe Castle on the South Coast of England, or rather on how it looked up until the end of the 15th century.
The castle was destroyed after the English Civil War and now The National Trust looks after the ruins.
Pictures of Corfe as it is today:

Gaming Rig:
Mac G4 Dual Processor OS 9.2.2
(all the current updates)
640 mb Rom
(PCI) ATI Raedeon 7000 Mac edition 32mb
or
(AGP) ATI Pro Rage 128 16mb
(both work great on this map)
I have allocated 251223 k in memory for Wolfenstein SP
The Look of the game:
The Author has utilized photo-realistc images of mountains and the sky in this map, and it looks sweet. Although the Author warns of having a high-end computer to fully enjoy this map, do not let this disclaimer intimidate anyone from at least trying it out. My computer does not have half the specs the Author described above and this map just absolelutely rocked for me, no lag or anything at all. Every building, texture, object, character, just everything you see in the map is so clear, so sharp, so high definition. It's a very beautiful map.
Game Play:
There are hair trigger alarms on almost every corner and the enemy has the itchy fingers to press them. All I can say is save, save, save, because you are going to need it. Your sniping and stealth capabilities will surely be honed on this map. My Hat's off to the Author Detoeni, Thank You for such a challenging map.
At the beginning when I first fire the sten, I get an error message, and the game shuts down, and I get kicked back to the Windows Desktop. I have played a number of the add on maps before this and have never had a problem, including MSG Liner, Ameland, Hidden Wolf, & Operation Vorsichtig. Any suggestions would be appreciated, I have a similiar problem with the Clonewar 2044 map also. Thanks
it would help to know what the error message said...
anyway it most likely isn't a problem of the map as nobody has experienced the error before, again - post the error message plz
Here to exactly the same,I haven`t done it to play it but Use 1.33 version he say`s and I think mine is 1.44 another map does the same of the new posted.
Don`t worry dude it`s not You that are something wrong with this time.

I have the same problem with the map... as soon as I fire the sten, game crashes... Same thing with Hidden Wolf... I have downloaded all of the SP maps and these two are my only problems.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
The problem could be one of two things, there can be problems with wolf SP if have too many custom pk3(sp & mp) in main or if you have altered the MP configs.
Reinstall wolf (you may need to manual remove some components) and patches and the files will work as exspected.
Just plain sprinting and killing doesn't seem to work, and there's noplace to hide and wait for that first guard to come by to kill him. Am I missing something obvious?
Ok, I found the path below the bridge, but I still can't get past the first guard post without them seeing me and setting off an alarm. Not only that, but if I shoot their alarm they still set the damned thing off. How the hell does that work?
Great map no doubt, but what is the trick to get by the first set of guards. I found the back entrance and still the alarm goes off. Any help??
superJ
Took me a few tries before I figured out that the main problem in alerting the guards was the firing of my weapon. So you hide in the moat, behind the guard shack until you hear the guard's steps go away. He'll *****ume his post by the front of the shack. Then you can sneak out. After that, it get's pretty messy - just don't forget that a knife is a weapon too.
A fine map indeed!! Use your best stealth tactics all the way ( except when approaching the very end ). I really did not want to see this game end. Some really wonderful ( and I am sure hard ) work done here. Don't let the high end callout for computer gear scare you off. Download it, follow the installation instructions carefully and give it a try. I have a 600MHZ CPU, only 128 RAM, ..... blah, blah, blah,..... nowhere near what is supposedly required. It worked perfect, no trouble ever. Yes, yes, yes, I would love to see this game-map continued. Thank you for your hard work ----- J. K.
I can't understand how anybody gets any enjoyment out of this map.
It's a stealth map - which should make an interesting change. The problem is, you almost can't move ANYWHERE without the alarm going off - even if there is nobody around to see you! And if you kill any of the guards, even in a position where its impossible to be seen by anyone else (like in a covered gateway) the alarm goes off.
There are two guards at the start, if you kill either of them the alarm will go off - even if the other guard doesn't notice you've killed his friend. Buf it you manage to sneak past them and hide behind the hut, they will see you and attack, THEN you can kill them without the alarm going off. There's no logic to it, it's stupid. It's as if 95% of the map had been set with trigger points where an alarm will sound, and you have to guess where and when the 5% of safe points are.
This game is no fun whatsoever. Don't waste your time downloading.
