* Description *
This map is my first single player map. This was made in about a month's time on and off and was mostly created to 1) Learn a little about single player mapping 2) Take a break from working on DeGeneration 3) To find inspiration 4) Look for kewl single player features to possible incorporate into DeGeneration.
This is nowhere near perfect, the AI aren't completely tweaked, the second map makes no sense in the scheme of things, I didn't do any optimization in terms of cluster portals, only two people have tested it, and it's a bit hard from what I've been told.
I'm simply releasing this in the hopes one person might have fun with it and also to release the source so that people might learn from it...hopefully something good lol I'd had to give people any bad habits haha You'll find the .map files in the maps folder inside the .pk3.
On the last day I worked on this I said: I'm stopping now since I have to get back to my other projects. Next time I revisit single player mapping I'll make something much better.

* Story *
THE CHALICE
Classified TOP SECRET
Codename: Treasure Chest
The Germans have discovered a Chalice wielding strange powers in the crypts to the East. We do not know the full ramifications of this discovery, but nonetheless we would like you to check it out and see if you can recover this item. You'll have to move quickly. There's no doubt they will dispatch scientists to inspect the artifact and determine its worth. We can not take the chance of this happening.
The passages you'll have to infiltrate aren't well traveled and the exact area where they are keeping it is unknown. Based on information from villagers the markings on this rough map should show a back way in. Once inside you will have to dynamite the upper level to gain access to the lower one. The only other way would be
the front entrance over the mountains. Don't worry. With all the demolition the Germans are doing down there they won't even realize you've arrived. Good Luck Agent Blazkowicz and Gods Speed.
================================================================
* Hints *
1) Make sure you use your dynamite wisely.
2) There is always a way out.
3) Read the letters. They might give you some insight if you're stuck.
4) Conserve your ammo. Aim for the head to kill your enemies quicker.
5) Don't rush in.

* Thanks to *
Thanks to the people at TRAM Design forums (http://www.tramdesign.net) as usual and to Demonspawn and TiCal for checking the map out. Also a big thanks to everyone over at Kos's forums (http://kos.spot.com.au) That is a great place to get single player mapping info.
Thanks to ID software, Xatrix, Nerve Software, & Grey Matter for their product. Also special thanks to everyone over at the TRAM Design forums and in the =TRAM=CLAN= (http://www.tramdesign.net) Everyone there helped me as much as I helped them which was the goal all along. The talent and knowledge in there amazes me sometimes. Thanks to all those who helped and encouraged me.
If I missed anyone I'm sure it was a simple mistake. Thank you! :-)
Oh, thanks to kat for releasing his latest single player map (which is great btw - get it here - http://www.cpdt.com/rtcw/) I probably wouldn't have been moved to release this otherwise.
