Description:
* Description *

This episode pack is a version improved of my second work called The Fortress 2(Beta).
* Changes on this version *

1 - All levels were optimizeds with textures/common/areaportal and Hint brushes.
2 - Added more effects on explosions (Cannons and vehicles)
3 - Added camera interruption on level 2 (all cutscene).
4 - Solved the minor bugs that are on version Beta.
5 - Removed some models and textures for optimization.
6 - Added new models for explosions effects.
7 - Solved problems with terrain on level 3 with option "video vertex(low)".
8 - Some changes were made on gameplay.
9 - Added new sounds for weapons (MG42, MP40 and Dynamite)

Note: To play with original weapons's sounds, delete the file sp_new_sound_weapons.pk3.

Map base : Move3 by Pizpot for level 1
Custom textures : Lavahell.jpg (Quake III), RTCW.jpg, Wolfenstein.jpg and Intro's textures by Nick Coombe aka crinity(crinity@email.com)
Custom textures2 : Lightblock by Pazur and some textures on "final level" are Prince of Persia 3D´s textures.
Custom sounds : Boom.wav, Flyby.wav, Of1.wav, Underground.wav by Vovstein and Half-Life's sounds.
Custom models used : Some Models by Vovstein, One model from Mages Skulls and other models by http://fps.brainerd.net/mapmodels.htm
Custom prefabs : all maps contained in the version Beta.
Editors used : GTK Radiant 1.2.11
Other utilities used : Q3map2 2.5.16_win32_x86

* Installation Information and how to play *

- Unzip to your C:Program FilesReturn to Castle Wolfenstein folder.
- Play using the shortcut and when the main menu appears, click in play button and after choose your favorite skill.
- If you have RTCW installed in another directory, you must to edit shortcut.

PC Pentium4 Dual Core 3400 MHZ with 2GB RAM
Video Card - Nvidia 6200 with 256 MB
-BSP-meta, -vis, -light - fast -nocollapse
(3 minutes to compile and about 5 minutes to AAS)

Unhappily few mappers were interested in doing Mods or maps (Single Player), to give continuity the saga of the hero B.J. Blazkowicz.

Hello Vicpas,
I found the area that you mentioned for the switch and got it opened. I tried to get onto the the truck and the barrel is in the way and had to do a "noclip" to get on and wait for the truck to start moving. Then the barrel stayed in the air as the truck started moving.
I was hoping to meet up with kessler and then we escape together, but that may be in another update? I would have liked to be able to walk the permiter of the walls, but no matter.
Overall, still a good level that makes you think.

Really great map Vicpas! Great design, lenght of levels and very good weapon sounds. Whole mappack has very interesting design.

I have gone through this several times, but cannot meet up Kessler.
Also, I can't get the truck to move and I have tried both trucks in case I have the wrong one. The barrel does rather block me on the one truck. Anybody have ideas?

I did watch the video on youtube, but the walk through does not show the end scenes. Otherwise, a good job of mapping.

Enter in the tunnel that it has not barriers and Kessler will meet you.
